Koshi region defeated Karnali region in the ongoing ANFA women's league football tournament in Lalitpur.
Koshi defeated Karnali by 4-0 in today's match at ANFA complex in Satdobato. Along with this, Koshi has climbed to the first place in the points table by collecting 9 points from three matches. Defeated Karnali has 1 point. Earlier, Koshi defeated Walling Municipality 4-0 and Wagmati Yuva Club 2-1. Similarly, Karnali, who played a 1-1 draw with Chandrapur, suffered a 4-0 defeat against Walling Municipality.
Purnima Rai scored 2 goals in Koshi's victory today, while Samsika Magar and Pratishka Rai scored 1/1 each. Koshiki Purnima scored the first goal in the 34th minute of the match. Then, in the 67th minute of the game, Samika scored and doubled Koshi's lead. Five minutes later, Purnima scored her second personal goal and third goal for the team.
