Koteshwar Taekwondo Dojang won 15 medals including 8 golds and lifted the team champion trophy in the 6th Nekos National Open Taekwondo Tournament on Saturday.
The team also won 3 silver and 4 bronze. Sundarimai Taekwondo Dojang came second with 2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze in the competition organized by National Taekwondo Association under Nepal Sports Federation (NECOS) at Koteshwar Taekwondo Dojang. Third place Ommane Taekwondo Dojang won 1 gold and 4 silver. Taekwondo referee Ashok Khadka said that 275 players competed in 16 events.
The winner was awarded by former Speaker of Wagmati Province Sanukumar Shrestha, National Sports Council member Ekendra Kunwar, senior Taekwondo coach Naveen Kumar Shrestha, organizing National Taekwondo Association President Sharda Dhimal and others.
