Koshi region won the second consecutive victory in ANFA women's football league on Thursday. Koshi defeated Wagmati Youth Club 2-1 in the match at ANFA Complex in Satdobato. In the next match, Walling Municipality defeated Karnali Province by 4-0.
After the win in the first match of the day, Koshi remained at the top of the league table with 6 points. Wagmati remained at 3 points after the first loss. Wagmati took the lead in the 26th minute with a goal by Bishnumaya Ball. This lead did not last long and Misiksha Magar scored to equalize the game in the 29th minute. The
deciding goal was a suicide. This goal was in the name of captain Divya Magar for Wagmati. Ugandan forward Jacqueline Nasali scored a hat-trick for Walling in the second game of the day. Another goal was scored by Sukriya Mia. This is Walling's first win. The team scored 3 points. After scoring the first goal in the 10th minute, Nasali scored two more goals in the 41st and 73rd minutes. Sukriya scored in the 89th minute. There will be two games on Friday. Sankata will face Chandrapur Municipality in the first match. In the second match, Police and Sudurpaschim will face each other.
