Under the organization of Radiant Readers Academy, the valley-wide inter-school three-on-three basketball tournament will be held from August 28.
Radiant Readers is going to hold a competition on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, founder Principal DK Dhungana told a press conference on Thursday. ECA in charge of Radiant Rajendra Kapali said that more than 50 schools of the valley will participate in the
competition. 24 teams in boys and 16 teams in girls are expected to participate. The
winner will get 15,000, the runner-up will get 10,000 and the third runner-up will get a trophy with cash prize of 5,000. Founder Principal Dhungana said that for the development of sports, it is necessary to develop sports from the school level.
He said that Radiant is going to establish its own cricket academy for cricket. The matches of the three-day tournament will be played on the host's own court on a Leaguecom knockout basis.
