Travel from Far West to Kathmandu. In volleyball that too to start from zero. Kavita Bhatt, who touched volleyball for the first time in the year 073, had no idea about the game and the playing court. Because she did not get the atmosphere of volleyball around the house. His volleyball journey started because of his tall stature. There, Kavita, who succeeded from zero, has become the main member of the national women's volleyball team.

Kavita, who started her volleyball journey from the departmental team Army under difficult conditions, learned the ropes of volleyball from coach Naresh Thapa. I came to know what volleyball is in the army. When I started playing volleyball, I thought there would be something in it. "The future was not meant to be like this," Kavita recalled the initial moment. Kavita, who started volleyball 9 years ago, has now been nominated for the People's Choice Award given by the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF).

Kavita is meek. A part of every sportsman's dream has also fallen on his part. He has a unique energy. Kavita says that a part of success is achieved only when it reaches award nominations. I never imagined this success so soon. As soon as I came to know that I was nominated, I thought that being a player has become meaningful,' said Kavita. She made her Kava Nations League debut in May last year.

He has so far played in three international tournaments including the Kava Nations League 1st and 2nd editions, the Asian Cup and a friendly match against Russia. She credits coach Jagdish Bhatt as a key figure in her international volleyball journey. Kavita, who was born in Dadeldhura in the year 056, is now a contender for this award. Half a dozen volleyball players have won the People's Choice category as NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards 21st edition arrives.

Kavitha feels that the responsibility of protecting the reputation of volleyball has fallen on his shoulders. He is aiming to win this award for the departmental team APF as well. Because two APF players have already won this award. The responsibility has come to protect the reputation of volleyball. As volleyball has won this award 6 times, there is pressure for me to win this award for volleyball, volleyball lovers and my club APF,' Kavita is determined.

Kavita is currently in the departmental team APF. She joined APF in the year 074 and made her own unique identity in domestic women's volleyball. She was a member of the team when APF won gold in the 7th, 8th and 9th National Games. He has played an important role in winning the team titles in many competitions including NVA Cup, Tiger Cup, Torpatan Cup.

All these successes are the current coach and former coach of APF. She recites the poem with the help of coach Gyanendra Bista and team members. "For APF, I have won many titles in domestic women's volleyball. I have collected the love of supporters. "I am confident that I will win the award now because of the love I got from Far West in Kathmandu," Kavita said.

She was a key member of the team when Nepal finished second in the recently concluded Kava Nations League. Having received so much love during her two-year international volleyball journey, her volleyball life is about to take a new turn. He says that this award will be important for him to take another form due to his success in Nepali volleyball so far. "Being nominated for the award is a very big success for me," she said.

If I win this award, my sports career will be successful. It is also a moment to be proud of being a player,” she added. With this success of Kavita, not only her, but also her family and the entire Nepalese volleyball team will be more happy in Far West. The municipality where he was born is now calling for voting. Volleyball supporters are also campaigning for the vote. As all volleyball fans know, this will be a victory not only for poetry but for all of volleyball.
