Organizer Gyanodaya Kindergarten reached the semi-finals of the boys' 30th Gyan Carnival inter-school basketball tournament on Tuesday.
Gyanodaya defeated Oasis 55-47 on the home court. Deepesh Shahi of Gyanodaya scored 25. With Manish Gurung's 15 points, Pushpa Sadan beat Radiant Public 55-39 to reach the semifinals. In
girls, NCCS defeated Malpi 29-23, Radiant defeated SSSVM 43-23, The Chandbagh defeated Rato Bangla 23-20 and Ribs defeated Pathshala 17-11 to secure the semifinals. Diva Maharjan of NCCS scored 14, Divyansha Karki of Radiant scored 25, Ashreya Parajuli of Chandbagh scored 12 and Sujeena Lama of Ribs scored 8.
