Goldengate College won the first inter-college girls' basketball tournament for the second time in a row on Tuesday.
In the tournament organized by Professional Education Consultancy (PEC), Goldengate defeated Triton College with a score of 46-18. Ayusha Maharjan of the winner added 13 scores. In the first three quarters, Goldengate took a lead of 11-0, 14-0, 10-4. Even though Goldengate trailed 11-14 in the fourth quarter, it did not affect the victory.
Rato Bangla and Landmark Academy won the competition being held at the court of Royal Sports Central in Sanagaon. Red Bungalow beat Blue Bird 23-7. The winner Samriddhi Shah scored 10. Rato Bangla performed 4-1, 9-4, 6-0, 4-2 in the quarter. The
landmark registered a 28-25 win over Kanjirova. Landmark's Micah Casey added 16 points. Landmark's second win in a row. Landmark led 6-2, 2-11, 15-1, 5-11.
