The inter medical college level sports competition is going to start from Sunday at Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital Jumla. The Karnali Institute of Health Sciences has informed that the final preparations for the inter-medical college level sports have been completed.
Inter medical college level sports are going to be organized in order to spread awareness about the health, service, health education and research activities being done in Karnali through sports. The organizers have stated that the
sports will run from August 16 to 21. After the establishment of Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, for the first time, the vice chancellor Dr. Mangal Rawal informed.
According to him, letters have been sent to 27 medical colleges across the country to join the sports competition, but only five will participate. Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences Janakpurdham, Rajarshijanak University Janakpurdham, Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences Hetouda, Kist Medical College Lalitpur and Maharajganj Medical Campus, Institute of Medical Studies Maharajganj will participate.
Karnali Health Science Foundation's services, Karnali's health condition and agricultural tourism are also supported by this sport. Vivek Pun informed. In
sports, there will be competitions including women's and men's volleyball, football, cricket, table tennis, chess, running, poetry and answering questions. In the competition, the first, second and third place winners will receive one lakh, 75,000 and 50,000 respectively Rupees, medals and certificates will be awarded. Coordinator Pun said that preparations are being made to arrange prizes with cash as an incentive for the best team that will come to promote the health of Karnali through
sports.
The organizer said that all the necessary preparations for the inter-medical college level sports have been completed.
