Before playing the World Cup Cricket League 2 series in Canada, Nepal will play three practice matches in Sri Lanka.

According to the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) on Friday, the Nepali national team is going to play three practice matches with the Sri Lankan development team. Nepal will play those practice matches on September 3, 5 and 7.

Nepal is scheduled to go to Toronto and play 2-2 League 2 matches with Canada and Oman from September 16 to 26. This is Nepal's second series in League 2.

Nepal has also selected a 19-member team to Sri Lanka. Rohit Paudel, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Anil Shah, Dev Khanal, Bhim Sarki, Arif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Arjun Saud, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, Rijan Dhakal, Lalit Rajvanshi, Akash Chand, Sagar Dhakal, Sandeep Zora , Dipendra Singh Airi and Sandeep Lamichhane.

The Nepali team recently returned to Nepal after training for two weeks at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore, India. Kamalsingh Airey, Surya Tamang and Basir Ahmed are missing from the team that went to Bangalore.
