Now Nepal and Bangladesh are competing for the title of the SAFF U-20 Championship football tournament.
At the end of the first half of the match at the headquarters of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) in Satdobato, Bangladesh took a 1-0 lead over Nepal.
In the 9th minute of the game, Nirajan Dhami's excellent shot was saved by Bangladesh's 'keeper' Mohammad Asif. Even after that, Nepal tried to score at different times of the game but failed.
By defeating Bangladesh, Nepal wants to make a 'hat-trick' of the SAFF Championship title. Earlier, Nepal won the SAFF Championship title in 2015 and 2017. Besides, Bangladesh is also in the stake to lift the title for the first time.
