Nepal has won 2 gold and 1 silver medal in the 10th Asian ITF Taekwondo Tournament held in Bangalore, India. Kavre's Rajmandir Shrestha and Kishorevarun Shrestha won the gold and Jhapa's Chandra Bahadur Tamang won the silver medal.

Rajmandir managed to win the gold medal by defeating the players from Mongolia in the competition for the fifth dan in the single baton . Similarly, in the competition above 91 kg, Kishore Varun won the gold after defeating the Indian players. Chandra Bahadur has won silver by competing in the 63 to 70 kg weight group. He won the silver by defeating the player from Tajikistan.

Among the contestants, Sushmita Thapa of Baglung, Karki informed that she got 2 golds for the first time in the international competition of ITF. According to him, only 1 gold was received in the 7th Asian Games.

15 players from Nepal participated as players, umpires and officials in the tournament from August 4th to 9th, in which 7 players competed.
