Nepal will face Bangladesh in the final of SAFF U-20 Championship. Bangladesh defeated India 4-3 in the tiebreaker in the second semi-final of the tournament held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Monday.

Mohammad Hasif, the second choice goalkeeper for Bangladesh, made two saves and gave his team the win. The final match will be held on Wednesday.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw at the scheduled time and with this the competition entered directly into the penalty shootout. Bangladesh took the lead in the 36th minute. Indian goalkeeper Priyans Duve could not clear Rabi Hussain's shot well and Asadul Mulla scored on the return ball.

India equalized in the 75th minute. Captain Gwamswire Goiri scored the goal with a powerful shot. Bangladesh's first choice goalkeeper Mehdi Hussain was forced to leave the field due to injury and Mohammad Asif played in his place.

Towards the end of the game, Bangladesh was limited to ten players. Usha Kamasai Marma was forced to leave the field on the second yellow card. In the first semi-final of the competition, Nepal also defeated Bhutan in a tiebreaker.
