Candidate Master Purushottam Chaulagai has won the title of the 6th National Amateur Intelligence Competition.

1937 rated Purushottam played 5 wins and 2 draws out of seven stages of classical matches while winning the title by showing excellent performance in the tournament held in Kakadvitta, Mechi Municipality of Jhapa. He scored 6 points and won 50 thousand rupees prize .

Rajendra Rai finished second with 5.5 points. He got 25 thousand . Dhiren Rai, who scored the same 5.5 points, stood third on the basis of Direct Encounter, Bucholz One Two and Most Win rules. He got 15 thousand .

Ashish Phuyal was fourth. He got 12,000. Former winner CM Krishna Thapa came fifth and got 10,000, Neelam Basnet came sixth and got 8,000, Vikas Mainali came seventh and got 6,000, Prem Limbu got eighth, Suroj Maharjan got ninth and Valiman Gurung got 5,000.

The program of Nepal Buddhichal Federation is organized under the sponsorship of Mechinagar Municipality and Pashupati Boarding. Bharat Gurung, director of the competition, said that a total of 18 lakh 22 thousand was spent on the competition.
