Liverpool beat Brentford 2-0 on Sunday in manager Arne Slott's first game at Anfield. With this, Liverpool won the second consecutive victory in the English Premier League.
Liverpool took the lead in the 13th minute with Luis Diaz's goal. It was also Diaz's hundredth game for Liverpool. Then Mohamed Salah added the second goal in the 70th minute.
After two rounds of matches in the league, Manchester City, Brighton and Arsenal have collected six points along with Liverpool. In Sunday's other matches, Chelsea beat Wolves 6-2, while Bournemouth and Newcastle United drew 1-1.
