Kathmandu Khel Mandal (NRT) is going to organize the KKM-NRT Inter-School National Table Tennis Tournament from 11th to 13th August. NRT is going to organize this tournament on the occasion of the club's 90th annual celebration.
It was informed in a press conference on Sunday that the four games that have been played in the past, football, cricket, billiards and table tennis will also be organized.
Under that, the billiards game has been completed and the club's president Sundar Narsingh Joshi said that cricket and football games are also going to be organized within this year.
In table tennis, 192 players from 43 schools will compete in 6 different events namely Boys/Girls Team, U-16 Boys/Girls Singles and U-12 Boys/Girls. 160,000 cash prizes have been placed in the competition. The gold, silver and bronze (2 persons) winners of U-16 and 12 will receive trophies, medals and certificates along with Rs 20,000, 10,000 and 5,000 respectively.
The coordinator of the tournament, Sunil Bhakta Joshi, said that the tournament will be held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lainchour.
