Rato Bangla secured a double win in the 30th Gyan Carnival inter-school basketball tournament on Monday.
In boys, Rato Bangla defeated Pathshala Baneshwar with a score of 36-11. Bangladesh's Akshit Jha added 11 scores. In the girls, Rato Bangla beat LRI 18-8. Nahana Dhungana scored 9 for the winning team. Pathshala beat Rupees International 18-4.
In other boys' matches, Pushpa Sadan beat Rupiz by 29-8, Ideal Model beat Modern Indian by 33-22 and LRI beat Pathshala Bagdol by 34-22. Samrat Lama of Pushpa Sadan scored 13, Yukim Magar of Ideal scored 11 and Mandi Guragain of LRI scored 16.
