Pinnacle Academy has won the title of AECC 1st Inter College Indoor Cricket Tournament. Pinnacle defeated Himalayan Whitehouse by 4 runs in the final of the tournament organized by Hype Yeti Events.
Himalayan, who got the target of 99 runs given by Pinnacle in the match completed at the Royal Sports Park, managed to score only 94 runs after losing 6 wickets in the entire 10 overs. Nitish Moktan of the team scored 38 runs and Mohammad Riaz scored 18 runs. Pinnacle's Abhishek Thapa took the most 3 wickets. Abhishek, who was the player of the final, spent 22 runs in 3 overs. Unbeaten Poudel took 2 wickets.
Earlier Pinnacle won the toss and made 98 runs losing 4 wickets in 10 overs. Abhishek Thapa scored the most 24 runs, Sandesh Khadka scored 18 runs, Himal Bisht scored 16 runs and Aparajit Paudel scored 13 runs. Himalayan's Jeevan Karki took 2 wickets.
The winner got a trophy with 50,000 and the runner-up with 30,000. Earlier, in the first semi-final, Pinnacle defeated Shikshantar College by 12 runs and Himalayan Whitehouse defeated AVS School by 26 runs. Pinnacle's Abhishek Thapa was selected as the best player. Krish Shahi Thakuri was chosen as the best batsman, Abhishek Thapa as the best bowler of Pinnacle, Nitish Moktan of Himalayan as the best fielder.
