Right Path Consultancy Group has selected the 19th Asian Games silver medalist in karate, Erica Gurung, as its brand ambassador on Friday.

Rajesh Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Right Path and Central Member of FNCCI, Erica and General Secretary of Nepal Karate Federation Dawa Gurung have signed the agreement letter regarding brand ambassadors. According to the

agreement, CEO Shrestha informed that Right Path will assist Erica in participating in international competitions and training. Erica will assist in the promotion of Right Path. The agreement made at the office of the Karate Federation in Tripureshwar will remain valid for 1 year.

The Nepal Karate Federation held a welcome program on Friday in honor of Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh, Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary and Bagmati Province Youth and Sports Minister Meenkrishna Maharjan.

Prime Minister Singh expressed the opinion that the sports sector has a great role to make the nation known in the international world. Sports Minister Chaudhary pointed out the need for everyone to unite for the development of the sports sector. Sports Minister of the province, Maharjan, said that he took over the responsibility of the Sports Ministry as he understood the importance of sports.

Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, Tanklal Ghising, said that all the honorees have good experience in sports and expressed the belief that new energy will be communicated in the sports field and players during their tenure.

General Secretary of the Karate Federation, Dawa Gurung, expressed the opinion that if the concept of 'Right Man, Right Place' is applied in the sport, the expected development will be possible. Deepak Shrestha, the newly appointed head coach of karate, said that there is a plan to build a hostel in the karate hall in Satdobato.

In the same event, Erica was honored with 1 lakh cash by Right Path Consultancy Group. Erica's coach Kushal Shrestha was honored.
