Union students have surrounded the central campus saying that the elections scheduled for Friday in the Midwest University have been postponed.
The students have staged a protest demanding the resignation of the vice-chancellor saying that the election has been postponed on the day of the election. Due to the interim order of the Surkhet High Court, the students have become agitated after the election scheduled to be held on the 28th has been postponed.
Roshan Basnet, a central member of the UNS, alleged that the entire CPN-UML is trying to stop the election of the SWWIU.
