The Tulsipur-Kalimati-Surkhet road under the Rapti highway and Madan Bhandari highway has been blocked since Friday morning due to landslides due to continuous rains.
The Tulsipur-Kalimati-Surkhet road under the Madan Bhandari highway was blocked due to the landslide in Ramri on the border of Salyan and Dang.
After the road was blocked, dozens of vehicles were stopped on the road and passengers were also stranded. Due to the continuous rains, daily traffic on the Rapti Highway and Madan Bhandari Highway has caused inconvenience to the commuters.
The landslide in Ramri has been removed using JCV and preparations are being made to send JCV to remove the landslide that fell in Tateli, District Police Office Salyan Information Officer Police Inspector Resham Bahadur Khatri said.
Prani Khatri informed that even rural roads were blocked due to incessant rain. He says that the residents of the district have been affected by the continuous rain.
