Ghanshyam Bhandari, Minister of Social Development of the Karnali State Government, has said that regional strategic hospitals will be operated at various locations here.
Minister Bhandari speaking at the annual review and planning symposium of district level health activities organized by Public Health Service Office Surkhet as well as the review program on the minimum service standards of health posts, said that a strategic hospital will be designated after studying the service delivery of the hospital and the condition of the beneficiaries. He informed that internal preparations are also being made for that.
Minister Bhandari directed to pay attention to the implementation of the right to information. He said that all government offices should publish their activities quarterly, semi-annually and annually. He said that local human resources including volunteers should be mobilized to solve problems such as malnutrition, urging them to pay attention to issues such as pharmaceutical waste management, management of expired drugs, and public awareness programs.
