8 people were injured in an SML high-speed accident at Tilagufa-5 Khallagad on the Karnali highway.
8 people were injured in the accident of Karnali Pradesh No. 02001 B 0098 going from Jumla to Surkhet. The condition of 5 of the injured is alarming while 3 are normal . The car with 18 passengers is overturned on the road.
52-year-old Dhanmane Sarki of Sinja-3, 60-year-old Manjite Sarki, 65-year-old Germa Sunar, 64-year-old Manakanya Chaulagai, 39-year-old Karn Bhandari of Jumla Kankasundari-6, Govind Chaudhary, information officer of the district police office, said that they were going to Surkhet.
Similarly, eyewitness Sadanand Timilsina said that Tilprasad Neupane, Jayachandra Chaulagai and Purnaprasad Chaulagai of Tilagufa in Calikot were also injured.
The injured has been sent to Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Jumla after first treatment at Rachuli Nagar Hospital. The preliminary estimate of the police is that the vehicle did not brake and the accident occurred.
