A woman was killed in Bardia on Wednesday around 12:30 pm. Police said that 39-year-old Meena Tharu of Barbardia Municipality-5 Tarkapur was killed with a sharp weapon in her own house.
DSP Tulsiram Aryal, Information Officer of District Police Office, Bardia, said that Tharu died at City Hospital Jayanagar during treatment. He said that Shiv Chaudhary, identified as Pappu, 40, of Barbardia-11 Jabdi, who was absconding after the
murder, was arrested by the police in the middle of the night. He was arrested by the police from Barbardia Municipality-5 City Bareilly. The police said that they are investigating the murder.
