On the occasion of National Education Day, Palpa's Ribdikot rural municipality honored 62 outstanding teachers and students on Wednesday.

Village Chairman Narayan Bahadur Karki informed that teachers who teach various subjects in basic and secondary schools of all eight wards of the rural municipality have been honored.

The Head of Youth and Sports Branch, Mani Khanal, informed that the teachers who have achieved 100% results in their subject in the annual examination of basic level, SEE and class 12 are honored with a certificate. Education Branch Chief Khanal said that honoring the teachers who have succeeded in giving good results in class 8, SEE and class 12 will increase their motivation.
