On Wednesday, 12 passengers were injured when a passenger van crashed near Thakurbaba Municipality-1 Amrani Post on East-West Mahendra Highway in Bardia National Park. The accident took place about 2 km west of Amreni post.
1J 1028 from Dhangadhi going towards Nepalganj. Police Inspector Sudeep Khadka, District Traffic Chief, said that it fell ten meters below the unpaved road. He said that three of the injured are in serious condition. Other injured are normal. District Traffic Office Bardia informed that the injured are being treated at a teaching hospital in Kohalpur.
