The Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chetnarayan Acharya, has said that the road master plan has been started by the provincial government to take infrastructure development to new heights through effective implementation.

Addressing the meeting of the UML Lumbini Provincial Parliamentary Party held at Deukhuri on Tuesday, Chief Minister Acharya also expressed his commitment that the government will take the positive suggestions of the Provincial Assembly members and implement them. He said that the priority of the current government is to stop the economic crisis and make the work of the plan effective.

'Now the state road master plan is being prepared immediately. As a proposal, the ministry will send it to the district level," he said. "The state road master plan will determine the length of state highways and the length of state roads and how many roads will be built in one district."

In order to complete the infrastructure development work of the province effectively and within the specified time, to determine the priority of the roads needed in the province and to make the implementation of the plan effective, the road master plan construction work has been started. Chief Minister Acharya also said that there are 3000 roads in the province. He urged the Provincial Assembly members to facilitate the implementation of the scheme above five lakhs through competition to prevent the financial crisis in the name of

scheme implementation. "To prevent financial crisis, the government has started the process of taking the projects worth more than 5 lakhs to the competition," he said. He also said that when the budget for the schemes is low, the government will provide the budget for the unfinished work with priority next year.
