A bill with a report to amend the State Civil Act 2080 has been submitted in the meeting of the Lumbini State Assembly on Monday. The government had registered the bill in the State Assembly on August 24 to amend the State Civil Act.

The meeting of the Provincial Assembly on August 28 discussed the bill in principle and sent it to the Provincial Affairs and Law Committee on August 30 for discussion. Dilkumari Budhamgar informed the assembly that the bill was submitted to the assembly along with the report after discussion in the committee in the presence of State Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Dhanendra Karki, Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Bhumishwar Dhakal on Monday morning.

After the introduction of the Bill, the meeting of the Provincial Assembly has been adjourned till 5 o'clock. The bill is expected to be passed in Monday's meeting. In Monday's meeting, on behalf of Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya, Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Bhumishwar Dhakal presented the annual report of the State Public Service Commission for the year 2080/2081. Speaker Tularam Gharti Magar has given the information that the report was sent to the Provincial Affairs and Law Committee on Monday for discussion and study.

In Monday's meeting, the provincial assembly members drew the government's attention to current issues. Minister of Health Khem Bahadur Saru Magar and Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Sita Sharma Chaudhary have responded to the issues raised by the members of the Provincial Assembly during the previous meeting.
