Lumbini Govt recruiting 132 Deputy Secretary

The Ninth level staff demanded by the government in the first phase include Division Forest Officer, Deputy Director of Forests, Division Engineer, Agricultural Extension Officer, Soil Expert, Agricultural Expert, Medical Superintendent for Hospitals, Specialist Service Doctors, Public Health Inspector and Health Education Administrator for the State Administration and General Administration.

The Public Service Commission has published a notification on Friday to submit applications within 21 days for filling up administrative and technical posts. "We have requested that 18 administrative and 114 technical staff be recruited only at the ninth level," Yamakant Pandey, Deputy Secretary and Spokesperson of the Public Service Commission's office in Butwal, said.

He said that the government has requested more employees for technical health services, forestry, agriculture, engineering and education services. According to Keshav Sunar, a senior official of the State Public Service Commission office, only 74 of the 132 people of the ninth level demanded by the government are from the health service. There are 17 in engineering, 11 in agriculture service, 6 in forest service and 6 in education service.

Out of the requested number, 24 will be promoted based on seniority and performance and 53 based on performance evaluation. Sunar said that 9 people will be recruited from the inter level and 46 new employees will be recruited from the open and inclusive level. Although the posts of 4 thousand 78 employees have been approved in Lumbini, now only 1 thousand 992 employees are working.
