President Yadav's hunger strike ends after the four-point agreement

Yadav broke his hunger strike after the postal road directorate, contractor side and physical infrastructure development minister of Lumbini province Bhumishwar Dhakal agreed to start the work immediately and make necessary coordination. Physical Minister Dhakal broke the fast at the behest of the leaders of the political parties including the heads of the local level of the district and the district coordination committee.

Rabunde Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by President Yadav and Head of Postal Highway Planning Office Kapilvastu Hem Bahadur AC. After the agreement, Lumbini Province Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Bhumishwar Dhakal broke the fast of President Yadav by serving him juice.

According to the agreement, the construction will start at a fast pace from the 2nd of October, and it is mentioned that the three kilometer base from Gopiganj to Belatari area will be constructed before Dasain and the black paper will be started in that area after Dasain.

It is also mentioned in the agreement that the road section up to Belatari will be completed with special priority until March 2081, which has been extended to the builders to submit the work schedule immediately. If the work is not done according to the agreement, the Chief District Officer will take action against the builder Brajguru Mahalakshmi JV Company and the contract cancellation process will be continued.

Similarly, in the memorandum of understanding, it is mentioned that the construction of the road from Belatari-Kathahwa, which is under the Hulaki project, will be completed rapidly within the time frame . Leaders of all political parties have also promised to take initiatives to complete the pending road projects under the provincial government.

Village chairman Yadav had been on hunger strike since August 25th and since August 28th, saying that the locals had to suffer due to the delay in road construction.
