The sea bird Thimaha Falafya has started enjoying in Kapilvastu's Jagdishpur Lake. At some places in the north-eastern corner of the mound in the middle of Jagdishpur Panchhi reserve, it has been found that the scaly falcon is growing.

"When I was going to the boat, my head felt like a thorn in my head," said Dr. Janakpur. SK Singh said, "While being careful, I saw chicks growing in two nests." Anil Chaudhary, the nature guide who went with him, said that he saw 60/70 moths fly and stay there. He said that there are at least 15/20 nests.

Senior ornithologist Hemsagar Baral said that it is the first time that a bird found in the sea, river and border areas of Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia has killed a baby in Nepal. "It is good for the country, it has increased the attraction towards tourism," he said. In the second week of August last year, wild life photographer Sugam Tamrakar and French Pemba Sherpa and Nishan Baral near Koshi bridge found the nest of Thimaha falfalale in Jagdishpur . However, after the news that Thimaha Fyalfya was perched came out, the crowd of people taking pictures increased in Jagdishpur, and the bird left the nest and ran away . In Koshi, Baral could not follow up the nesting.

Deepak Bahadur Gurung, Ward President of Kapilvastu Municipality-9, said that he was happy to add an attraction in Jagdishpur with a sea bird drawing a baby. This year, he said, it is strictly necessary to go into the lake so that the seabirds can raise their chicks well.

"I came to take a picture of the water nymph," Dr. Singh said, "I am happy to set a record by taking pictures of the wildebeests of Thimaha." Being a doctor by profession, he says that he is interested in wildlife photography.

This bird comes as an irregular winter visitor and as a breeding species in spring. Although there is no research on where this bird comes from in Nepal, ornithologists say that it can be assumed that it comes from the vicinity of Arabin Sea. Because of its great beak, it is difficult to photograph this bird at times other than during nesting. It settles in the water by keeping weeds and insects on the leaves. Among the 8 species of grasshoppers, it eats insects and grasshoppers. At the time of moulting, the white cheeks, black head and fluffy underparts are clearly contrasted. In 1982, more than 400 of these birds were seen in Koshi Barrage. Ornithologist Hathan Chaudhary said that this bird was seen for the first time in Jagdishpur last year after 41 years. He said that due to the increase in temperature due to the effect of climate change in the sea, they may have chosen to grow rice in such coastal and border areas. Ornithologist Krishna Prasad Bhusal said that since Jagdishpur Lake has been protected as a bird reserve, new birds have chosen to nest and rear their young. This bird, which lives in July, hatches a baby in three weeks and takes it away after two/three months.

This lake has been sheltering the most water birds in Nepal. A study conducted by IUCN Nepal has shown that 43 species of fish, 10 species of amphibians, 42 species of reptiles and 32 species of mammals are found in this area. Similarly, it is said that 167 species of birds can be found in the lake area. Among them, 92 species of birds, 9 species come in summer, 64 species of birds come in winter and 3 species of birds are partial migrants. Here in the world rare animal water cat and 8 species of birds are also found.
