Armed police have arrested two people along with drugs brown sugar in Bardiya Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-2 Footaha passing through Bazar Balaigaon of the Indian border crossing. The substance was found by BOP Futaha under the Armed Police Force, No. 31.
On Thursday evening, during a check at the Nepal-India border, two persons were detained along with about 5 and a half grams of the substance. Armed Police Superintendent Chitrangat Dahal said that 26-year-old Manoj Airi of Kailali Dhangadhi Municipality-3 and Navin Hamal, 27-years-old of Banke Khajura Rural Municipality-9 were arrested. He said that two mobile phones and 2 thousand 835 rupees were recovered from them.
Those arrested have been sent to Nepal Police for action. Superintendent of Armed Police Dahal said that after the District Administration Office, Bardia started an anti-narcotic operation for three months, traders and users started to be arrested.
