To open the lockdown in Nepal Sanskrit University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhim Prasad Khatiwada has made a public call in writing. On Wednesday, he issued a written call asking the concerned bodies to create an environment to open the lock that has been locked in the Sanskrit University for three months.
He called upon all concerned parties, including students, professors and employees' joint organizations, Swaviyu, to be sensitive to the fact that the central office of the university at Beljhundi and the administrative body have been locked for three months. The student union and partial teachers have locked down with various demands.
On behalf of the university, he has requested the agitating parties to communicate with the negotiation committee formed under the coordination of Janata Vidyapeeth Bijauri Principal Yograj Sharma to find a speedy solution and end all kinds of obstacles.
He said that due to the lockdown, the committee formed by the Council of Ministers on June 20 to manage hundreds of bighas of the university's land could not work. There is only a little time left for the committee to fulfill its responsibilities. "We have not been able to study the records of the university related to land," he said, "Due to the closure, the important work of land management, which the government has given importance to, has been stalled." He informed that the university is committed to meet the demand according to its financial capacity. He said that the university is committed to move forward with positive initiatives in consultation with the students, Ayurveda study institute and the university to solve the problems in the teaching, examination, evaluation and experimental aspects of Ayurveda graduate BAMS level which has been operating for 12 years in the only Ayurveda university of the university.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. After Yadav Prakash Lamichhane resigned in the last week of July, Khatiwada got the responsibility of Vice-Chancellor. Khatiwada was previously the university's principal.
