Lumbini State Assembly member Dhan Bahadur KC has been sent to jail. KC Congress MP elected from Rukum Purwa 1 (2) has been sent to jail for being found guilty in the document forgery case.

Rukum East police chief DSP Madhav Kharel said that KC, who has been absconding till now, surrendered himself in the Rukum East district court on Sunday. He informed that the court sent him to prison for payment of imprisonment.

On June 9, 2048, the then Rukum District Court sentenced KC to one year imprisonment and a fine of 2,000 rupees in the case of document theft.

His wife Radha KC filed a complaint against him for submitting fake documents in the divorce case and he was found guilty. There was a lot of protest against him because he was not prosecuted.
