Basgarhi Municipality-1 A young man has gone missing when he was swept away by the river while bathing in the Dondre river. DSP Tulsiram Aryal of District Police Office, Bardia informed that about 32 years old Madhav Neupane of Banke Kohalpur-2, who had come to visit with 7 friends, was swept away by a buffalo in the river.
On Friday afternoon, Rupesh Sah, police inspector of Saath area police office, Basgarhi, said that the police team was deployed for the rescue.
Even after searching for him until late, nothing has been found. According to the police, it was found in the preliminary investigation that Neupane slipped on a stone while returning after bathing in the river. DSP Aryal said that the police is investigating the
incident.
