The number of viral fever and cold patients has increased in District Hospital East Nawalparasi. Most of the patients coming to the hospital have viral fever and cold infection, according to the doctor.
Madhyabindu District Hospital Administration Branch said that especially children and elderly people come for examination with high fever and cold.
At present, 250 patients come for examination at the district hospital daily, but more than 100 patients come with high fever. As a result, the number of patients in the hospital has increased.
Most of the patients with high fever have been tested for dengue. In the district hospital where the patients who have health insurance go, the dengue and scrub typhus tests are not covered by the insurance.
