A temporary police station has been established in Atraulitar of the remote hilly Bullingtar Rural Municipality. The police station building was completed and inaugurated on Friday at a cost of 2.6 lakhs of the rural municipality on the land provided by the locals.
Police Chief of East Nawalparasi Narahari Regmi inaugurated the newly constructed building. Speaking after the inauguration, Superintendent of Police Regmi said that the service was started from a temporary police station in Atraulitar as per the demand of local residents.
Superintendent of Police Regmi said that the post built on the corridor of hilly Kaligand will provide fast, efficient and quality service to the people of Durmag. There are 28 police posts in East Nawalparasi. 12 of them are temporary police posts.
Atrauli police station is located on the border of neighboring Boudikali and Bullingtar rural municipalities, so it is said that it will be easy to serve both municipalities. Regmi claimed that the police building built here is a model building in Nepal. Atraulitar Police Station is a remote hill post bordering Tanhu. Bulingtar, Boudikali and Hupsekot Rural Municipality of East Nawalparasi are remote.
On the occasion of the inauguration, Dipendra Sunari, president of Bullingtar Rural Municipality, informed that he is trying to establish an area administration office in Bullingtar and Boudikali Rural Municipality, which are in distress in East Nawalparasi.
