Demonstration at the district court premises by the victims of meter exploitation

Based on the written complaint of the victims, the police arrested them and submitted them to the court after investigation, but the case of Amrit Bhusal was not registered, but the victims demonstrated in front of the district court and public prosecutor's office on Thursday.

Their complaint is that the court did not administer justice in the case of Amrit Bhusal, a meter bag dealer of Kawasoti, who was arrested after filing a complaint with the police.

According to that, Mahato submitted an application to the district police office with evidence saying that the loan was not repaid even though he could pay more than 20 million. Based on Mahato's application, the police detained Bhusal for 24 days and handed over the case to the public prosecutor's office.

The public prosecutor's office released Bhusal without even registering a case. Mahato informed that he had to demonstrate against that. Bhusal was released two weeks ago. Mahato filed an application against Bhusal in the first week of July at the District Police Office.

In June 2076, Ramprasad Mahato took 1.5 lakhs from Bhusal to do business and pay 15 thousand interest per day, the document shows. According to that, 4 katha 6 dhur land in Madhyabindu Municipality-2 of Mahato was passed to Bhusal.

Mahato says that Bhusal did not return the land even after paying more than 20 million in cash and land. According to the police, Bhusal has been extorting half a dozen locals including Mahato by investing money in meter badges.

East Nawalparasi Police Chief Narahari Regmi informed that when he submitted documents to the district attorney's office with proof that meter bagji Bhusal had collected 1 crore 57 lakh 15 thousand 411 rupees from Mahato at different times including interest and money, he refused to register the case of Bhusal.

After not registering a case against Bhusal, the meter badge victims reported that they demonstrated against the district court and the public prosecutor's office on Thursday.
