A minor has died after drowning in Narayani river in Ghindakot. According to the local police office, Gaindakot, the 3-year-old son of Asmita Manandhar, a resident of Gaindakot municipality-9 Thumsi, Suman Manandhar, drowned in the river.
When he went to play near the embankment on the river bank, he was in Narayani were drowned.
The child who drowned in the river at 2.30 pm on Friday was taken to Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment after being rescued, police said.
