He said, 'The test report of other evidence including the DNA test is yet to come from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory.' After finding the dead body, the locals informed the police. When the police excavated the body buried under the ground, the face and gender could not be identified.

The exhumed 'decomposed dead body' was sent to Western Regional Hospital Ramghat Pokhara for post-mortem on 31st July 2018. The report confirmed that 'the body was of a woman, she was killed with a sharp weapon and there was also a fetus in her stomach'.

Ram Khatri, who was detained pending trial by the arrest order of the district court on 080 February 17, was taken to the public prosecutor's office for the charge related to the 'disappearance of a missing person' charge, during which a polygraph test was taken and during the statement, Ram Khatri identified himself as his mixed-race pregnant girlfriend. The police claimed that he confessed to stabbing and burying the body in the forest.

The family identified the body as that of 19-year-old Mina, who had been missing for about 8 months, from the clothes including a golden scarf, black shawl, and slippers found with the body found in the Githini forest .

After the body of Mina was found, Babu Chandra Nepali (Pariar) filed a criminal complaint on July 30 against the 21-year-old neighbor Ram Khatri, who is also called the lover, and 5 family members, including mother, brother, brother and brother-in-law.

Pariyar and Khatri, who are studying class 11 in the local Galeshwar Secondary School, had a love affair and after it was revealed that Mina was 6 months pregnant through frequent sexual intercourse, it was revealed through Facebook messenger that Ram repeatedly pressured her to abort.
