Pingalraj Gautam has been selected as the president of CPN United Samajwadi Baglung. A week ago, Gautam was elected as the vacant chairman after some leaders including district president Lal Bahadur Thapa joined the UML.
According to the statement issued by General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhushal, Gautam, who is a member of the secretariat, was appointed by the decision of the party's central committee.
District president Thapa, central member Shri Prasad Sharma and district secretary Bharat Puri joined UML after the last congress ended. Kiran Gurung, in-charge of UML Gandaki province, arrived at Baglung to welcome them.
President, secretary and central member joined UML and the party was empty for a few days . After receiving the letter sent by Bhushal on Thursday, CPN S workers including Gautam said that the party leadership is ready again.
