About a month and a half after the change of power alliance in the union, UML has participated in the Gandaki provincial government with four ministries. UML joined the government after the dispute between Congress and UML over the distribution of ministries and the inclusion of other parties ended in an agreement to split the ministries.
Newly appointed ministers took oath with state chief Dilliraj Bhatt was made . UML has participated in the government under the leadership of Padma Ji from UML. Agriculture, land management And has got the responsibility of Ministry of Cooperatives . Similarly, Prakash Bahadu KC has been given the responsibility of physical infrastructure and transport, Mitralal Basyal has received the responsibility of industry and tourism and Krishna Pathak has been given the responsibility of the health ministry.
UML's Central Accounts Commission member GC has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, while powerful ministries such as physical infrastructure and transport management have been assigned to Prakash Bahadur KC. Kaski's KC was elected proportional MP after leaving RPP and joining UML before the last election. He is close to UML parliamentary party leader Khagraj Adhikari.
While UML is participating in the government, Deepak Manange, an independent MP elected from Manang, has also continued in the cabinet. He has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Forests and Environment. He was previously the Minister of Physical Infrastructure . UML's stance was that Manange should not be made a minister. But since Chief Minister Surendraraj Pandey supported him to gather support during the crisis, he took a stand to make him a minister at any cost. After that, although the ministry was split up, Manange was included in the Council of Ministers.
Phanindra Devkota has also continued with the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Drinking Water. He is a Member of Parliament of Nepal Samajwadi Party . Although the Maoists took action against him for violating his whip, the Supreme Court issued an order stating that he is a Member of Parliament of another party . Since then, Devkota has been continuously in the government . Since Devkota also supported him in the crisis, the Chief Minister took a stand to continue him in the government .
