Gandaki Chief Minister Surendraraj Pandey has accepted the resignation of Rajiv Gurung (Deepak Manange) who was appointed as Forest and Environment Minister.

On Monday After UML participated in the government, Chief Minister Pandey removed Manange from the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and gave him the responsibility of Ministry of Forest and Environment.

However, Manange resigned saying it was against his will. Manange has been claiming in the Ministry of Social Development, Youth and Sports.

After accepting Manange's resignation, Pandeka's press aide Narahari Sapkota said that the Forest and Environment Minister is currently with the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Pandey continued Manange as a minister from among the 5 ministries that were part of the Congress after making 9 from 7 ministries to balance the division.

After Manange's resignation, even though the said ministry is part of the Congress, it has not been decided who will be sent. Nepal Samajwadi Party (NESPA) Member of Parliament Fanindra Devkota from the Congress side is the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Drinking Water.
