Two people who set fire to their own shop to claim insurance money were sent to jail on Friday.
Last July 16, Sujan Gahatraj, 36 years old, resident of Pokhara-17 Damside, Syangja Adhikhola Rural Municipality-6, director of Muktinath Shopping Center, operated at Dr. Thaneshwar Pahari's house in Nareshwar, Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality-6, and Pawan, 43 years old, residing in Putlibazar Municipality-7, currently residing in Pokhara-17 District Police Chief Mohan Thapa said that Nepal Jail has been opened.
Gahatraj and Nepal, involved in the incident of setting fire to their own shop to claim the insurance amount, were registered in District Court Kaski under the title of criminal nuisance. The court ordered them to be remanded in custody on Friday.
