The Division Forest Office has rescued a baby leopard from Arughat Rural Municipality-7. After the leopard cub reached the house of local Man Bahadur Baram on Saturday, the local informed the division forest office.
Mahesh Paudel, information officer of Division Forest Office, said that the leopard cub was rescued and left in a suitable habitat on Sunday.
'Yesterday, we got the news that a leopard cub had arrived at a man's house. We rescued it and brought it, seeing that it is not suitable for keeping it for a long time, we left it in a suitable habitat today,' he said. He said that the child was left in its natural habitat.
