Naveen Bhatt, a resident of Okhle, Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-2, Tandrang, was 51 years old. At this age, he is enrolled in class 9 at Shakti High School in nearby Gorkha Municipality-6 Patechaur.

Every day he comes to school in blue pants, white shirt and khakatopi . Don't miss any classes . Bhatt's children, who were admitted this year, are with their peers.

Since his admission in Baisakh, the teachers are also shocked to see the passion he has shown in his studies . Bhatt says that age does not stop education. "I sleep only 4 hours a night, other times I pass the time by reading," he says. Bhatt has one daughter and two sons. The eldest son Purpaksa is studying in the second year of MBBS at Patan Institute of Health Sciences in Kathmandu.

Bhatt said that he decided to study last November. At the time of admission, the son was considered gentle. "My friends were surprised, what others said, I understood after I reminded them," he said. Bhatt had previously given his SLC from Dullab High School in 2053 but was unsuccessful. After that, he could not continue his education . "I was not able to study when I was old, active, and my financial situation was weak," he said, "I went to Delhi (India) looking for a job the day I finished the SLC exam."

After returning from Delhi in the year 2056, he said that although he thought of continuing his studies again, he could not proceed due to the change in the curriculum. "When I came back from India, the course changed, I got married, I forgot more about home affairs than studying," he said. He said that after spending almost 25 years in housework and farming, he continued his studies to gain knowledge. ``I was not satisfied with just driving the soil . He would have earned money, but not knowledge,' he said.

Bhatt, who started reading again after 28 years, is also improving in his writing and reading. He has experience that writing is slow in the early days . I didn't understand what I wrote. I started writing late, I have forgotten the order of letters,' he said, 'It has become easier as I practice, the first exam is coming, I ask the children of the class what I don't know, I ask the sir wherever I find it.' After two years, I will become a doctor like my son His goal is . School principal Badri Aryal said that Bhatt's studies are good. He informed that the level of learning is the same as that of other students.
