A young man has killed his own father for hitting and killing a dog kept at home. There was a fight between Kawasoti's father Prem Kumal and son Nirajan over hitting the dog.

43-year-old Prem Kumal died when his son threw a stone at him after a fight between father and son in Kawasoti Municipality Ward No. 5 Thakuri Chowk on Wednesday morning at 11:30 am.

According to Bed Paudel, Acting Head of the District Police Office, there was an argument between Prem and his 18-year-old son Nirajan over the fact that the father had beaten the dog he kept at home.

A pet dog died from love beating. Prem died on the spot after being hit on the head by a stone. Nirajan has been arrested by the police.
