A motorcyclist died in a collision with a Magic vehicle at Raptipul in Thanabharyang, Hetounda sub-metropolitan city-11.
Lakshmi Bhandari, the police spokesperson of District Police Office Makwanpur, said that 26-year-old Sriram Pariyar of Thanabharyang was involved in the accident.
On Friday afternoon, under the east-west section of the road in Raptipul, the motorcyclist Pariyar was seriously injured when the motorcycle No. 15 P 4157 coming from Nawalpur towards Hetounda Bazar collided with the Magic No. 03-001 J 0257 of Wagmati Pradesh traveling from the opposite direction.
Pariyar, who was seriously injured due to head and leg injuries, was brought to Hetaunda Hospital for treatment and the doctor declared him dead. The police have arrested the Magic driver.
His body is in Hetaunda Hospital and the police said that further investigation is being conducted into the incident.
