In Dhulikhel-Khavakhand of Kavre under Araniko highway, the operation of cargo vehicles including trippers will be banned for two days.

The Road Division Office, Bhaktapur, issued a notice on Wednesday and informed that the operation of tipper and cargo vehicles will be prohibited on the Dhulikhel-Khawa road section on Thursday, August 20th and Friday, August 21st.

Dhulikhal-Khawa road section under construction is very dilapidated and it is difficult to operate the traffic. It is mentioned in the notice issued by Road Division Office Bhaktapur that the operation of cargo vehicles will be prohibited on that road for maintenance and maintenance of the road.

After the road section became slippery due to rain, vehicles have been stopping for hours in the middle of the road for a few weeks. As the expansion and upgrading of the Dhulikhel-Khawa four-kilometer road section is not completed on time, passengers are suffering everyday.

Dhulikhel-Khawa 4 km road section due to the negligence of Gauri-Parvati Nirman Seva Pvt. For road improvement, an agreement was signed between Road Division Office Bhaktapur and Gauri-Parvati Construction Service on 20th June 2079 to complete the work in 22 months. According to the

agreement, the work should have been completed on 19th of Chait 080. The Gauri-Parvati Construction Service had awarded a contract for the upgradation of the said road section at a cost of Rs. Road Division Office Bhaktapur has informed that about 35 percent of the work has been completed so far.
