One person died after being struck by lightning in Koshi rural municipality-4 here on Friday. According to the district police office, 18-year-old Akram Mian was the deceased.
Tajmul Mian, a local resident, informed that he was seriously injured in a lightning storm while he was fishing on Thursday and died today during treatment. The body of the deceased has been kept at District Hospital Inaruwa Sunsari for post-mortem.
Another local Hadis Mian was injured in the same incident. He is being treated at a local hospital.
