98 complaints of unfair transactions in Jhapa

In Jhapa, 98 complaints have been registered after the commission of inquiry regarding unfair transactions (metering) asked for applications.
Assistant Chief District Officer Vishwaraj Nepal informed that one of the complaints registered at the District Administration Office, Jhapa, was approved and two complaints were withdrawn. According to him, the said complaint was filed from the date of the first publication of the notice by the Commission from 2081/02/11 to 2081/04/04.
In Jhapa, a mechanism has been formed under the leadership of the Assistant Chief District Officer, consisting of a representative of the District Police Office and the District Public Prosecutor's Office . According to Assistant Pragya Nepal, who has the right to discuss and investigate the complaints received after the commission calls for information.
'Since unfair transactions occurred more than thirty years ago, there have been complaints of unfair transactions recently. 20 thousand to 83 lakh complaints have been received with claims of unfair transactions,' he said.
Assistant Prazia Nepal informed that the necessary decision regarding the complaint will be started by calling both parties for a meeting of the mechanism soon.
